Land Preparation

Prepare the land to a fine tilth. Plough 2­-3 times then harrow to break the soil clods, remove stumps.

We also encourage minimum tillage(ploughing) by clearing vegetation of the previous crop and planting directly to reduce soil erosion and maintain the soil structure.

Seed selection

For best result particularly high germination and good crop, always use certified seeds. Certified seeds:

• Give high yields of good quality
• Minimise the likelihood of crop failure
• Are resistant to some pests and diseases
• They grow fast, strongly and uniformly.
